LIGHTWORKS ENTERPRISES, INC.  ANNOUNCES SANDRA CARTER GLOBAL, INC. AND SANDRA CARTER INTERNATIONAL WILL MERGE ITS PROGRAMMING INTO LIGHTWORKS PROGRAM DISTRIBUTION, INC.

 NEW YORK (January 24, 2008) – Lightworks Enterprises, Inc. (LEI) has announced that Sandra Carter Global, Inc. (SCG) and Sandra Carter International (SCI) will merge its programming into Lightworks Program Distribution, Inc. (LPD) it was announced by David A. Dreilinger, President and CEO of LEI. 

All Sandra Carter Global, Inc. programming will become part of Lightworks Program Distribution, Inc. (LPD), the company’s global television and new media distribution arm. LPD President and Managing Director, John Cuddihy, will head up the combined operations. Sandra Carter, founder and principal of Sandra Carter Global, Inc., will assume the title of Executive Vice President, Business Development for LPD, where the respected television executive will work with John Cuddihy to continue to bring a variety of new and exciting programming into the marketplace. Among the programs debuting at NAPTE are Red Carpet Reporter and Café Hollywood En Espanol Hosted by Carolina Barba.

Throughout the course of its 25 years in production and distribution, Sandra Carter Global, Inc. has amassed an enviable roster of multi award-winning series and specials, including the Emmy-nominated “24 Days of Christmas” and New York and Chicago Film Festival Gold Medal Winners, “Women of the World” and “Mandela: Man of Vision.” Recently, SCG made a high-profile entry into digital platforms including mobile, internet and iPod distribution with such content brands as “The Hollywood Reporter,” and “Shop the World for Beauty Secrets.” Lightworks will acquire SCG’s entire catalogue of programming as well as the company’s ongoing production.

Included among Lightworks’ most recent programming slate are Quest for Sunken Warships, a half-hour series that explores the strategy of naval warfare through the forensic underwater wreckage of four different battles in the waters off Cape Hatteras, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and South Pacific, and Narc-Ops, a half-hour series that follows the gritty live action of a drug pursuit from tip to take down.
